“Countering Hate, Promoting Peace: A Community Approach” is a three-day course by the Peace & Justice Foundation, starting on August 25, 2025. It aims to equip participants with the knowledge and tools to combat hate crimes and foster peaceful communities. The course covers the impact and legal aspects of hate crimes, the psychology behind hate, media influence, and strategies for conflict prevention. Participants will explore peacebuilding techniques, community-led initiatives, and advocacy for policy change through interactive discussions, case studies, and workshops. The program offers practical solutions for countering hate, promoting tolerance, and creating action plans for lasting peace.
